Most exciting is our new pool and spa area. Beautifully appointed cabanas and deck chairs will soon be surrounded by lush landscape and a whole new resort style setting.

Renovations began earlier this month and are scheduled to be completed in May. San Diego yacht brokers, boat owners and local businesses will be among those invited to tour the new facilities at a grand reopening celebration, scheduled for May 23.

Guests can enjoy a newly renovated pool and spa area, complete with cabanas and portable fire pits. They can also relax on the deck and watch the latest sporting events on flat-screen televisions.

New grills, a kitchen area and new LED lighting are also included in the renovation. The pool area and the front of the marina have also been opened up, to provide room for large functions.

We will expand our community pavilion with a new kitchen, TV’s furniture and more for tenants to mingle and entertain. These are in addition to upgrading common areas, including a renovation of our gym and upgrading of our business center, within our marina.

The Port of San Diego will be hosting a seminar at Noon on Saturday and Sunday and will discuss the Hull Paint Conversion Project grant designed to help San Diego boaters offset the cost of switching their bottom paint to new non-biocide coatings. Boaters looking for information on cruising south of the border can attend Dick Markie’s “Cruising Mexico” seminars at 1:30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday. Markie designed, built and managed Paradise Village Marina in Puerto Vallarta and has years of experience cruising in Mexico.he San Diego Sunroad Boat Show features exciting land and in-water exhibits for boaters of every age.
